SEMINAR OF MILLENIAL STRATEGY FACING THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION OF ERA 4.0 PSYCHOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVE
The Faculty of Psychology, University of Medan Area (UMA) held a Seminar with the theme “Millennial Strategy in Facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 Psychology Perspective” which was held on Saturday 11 January 2020 at the Convention Hall of the UMA Campus Library Building. The speakers who filled the seminar were Mr. Ferri Effendi, S.Psi, M.Sc., Ch, Cht and Mrs. Rahmah Nur Rizki, S.Psi, M.Psi.
The seminar participants came from Senior High Schools from all over Medan including:

The first activity of the Seminar was opened with a prayer reading led by Fauzi Wikanda, S.Pd.I, M.Pd.I
During the seminar, Ms. Laili Alfita, S.Psi, M.Psi as the head of the seminar committee opened the event by giving a welcome speech and thanking the seminar participants who were willing to attend the seminar.
Next remarks were delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, University of Medan Area Dr. Hj. Risydah Fadilah, M.Psi, Psikolog, expressed her gratitude for the attendance of the seminar participants and also conveyed the role and influence of technology in the 4.0 era in everyday life.
The seminar continued with the remarks by Medan Area University Rector, Prof. Prof. Dr. Dadan Ramdan, M.Eng, M.Sc by conveying the importance and how the influence of technology at this time on community activities, especially on millennials in the 4.0 era.
Then the event continued with a group photo session and souvenir giving to the participating schools of the seminar represented by representatives of each school.
Then the event continued with the presentation of Seminar material. Mr. Ferri Effendi, S.Psi, M.Sc., Ch, Cht explained about the differences and characteristics of 5 (five) generations including: Baby Boomers, Generation X, Generation Y, Generation Z, and Alpha Generation. Mr. Ferri Effendi, S.Psi, M.Sc., Ch, Cht also explained the developments from Era 1.0 to the present and the impact of the Era 4.0 Industrial Revolution on the need for human resources.
Presentation of next seminar material delivered by Mrs. Rahmah Nur Rizki, S.Psi, M.Psi. The material presented by her is about the strategy and mindset of what should be owned by millennials in Era 4.0.
After the two speakers finished their presentation, a question and answer session was opened, which ended with the reading of the winner of the Doorprize Instagram with prizes of counseling vouchers and books for participants who have dared to actively ask Speakers.
