Students of the Faculty of Psychology, University of Medan Area were successfully selected as Deputy II North Sumatra Language Ambassadors in 2020. Dicky Darmawan Lubis (178600482) is a student who successfully became the Second Deputy Ambassador of North Sumatra Language in 2020. The 2020 North Sumatra Language Ambassador election event was held on Thursday, September 3, 2020.
Rector of Medan Area University Prof. Dr. Dadan Ramdan, M.Eng, M.Sc expressed his gratitude and pride for the achievements of students of the Faculty of Psycholgi. “I am very happy to hear this good news because students of the Faculty of Psychology UMA were elected as Deputy II Ambassadors of North Sumatra Language In 2020. This shows that they can compete and scent the name UMA. We as leaders
will continue to encourage and motivate students to be able to develop their talents and interests and be able to achieve outstanding achievements, in order to realize the vision of UMA,producing innovative, personal and independent graduates. Congratulations to the students who excel in this prestigious event, hopefully the achievements achieved can be transmitted to other students,” said rector of UMA.
Duta Bahasa is an annual event conducted by Balai Bahasa Sumatera Utara (BBSU), the activity has been held for 2 days starting from 2 – 3 September 2020. This activity aims to increase the role of the younger generation in establishing the function of Indonesian, regional, and foreign languages in accordance with the domain of its use followed by hundreds of participants from various regions in North Sumatra.
Congratulations to the Psychology students of Medan Area University who successfully scented the name of The University of Medan Area. Every student competition event of Medan Area University always gets a champion, this proves the quality of students of The University of Medan Area. Hopefully in the future, the students of Universititas Medan Area will get more championships in other fields. “
