SIGNATURE OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING OF THE MEDAN AREA UNIVERSITY WITH SIMALUNGUN UNIVERSITY AND GENERAL LECTURES
The Rector of Medan Area University (UMA) visited Simalungun University (USI) as a guest lecturer and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding of Cooperation between Medan Area University and Simalungun University on Saturday December 21, 2019 in the Hall of the Simalungun University Faculty of Engineering.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation was witnessed by the Vice Rector for Collaboration Dr. Ir. Zulheri Noer MP, Dean of the USI Faculty of Engineering Dr. M. Ade Kurnia Harahap, ST, MT, Professor at the USU Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Eng. Himsar Ambarita ST, MT, all lecturers and students of the USI engineering faculty.
The signing of this MoU, Rector of the Medan Area University hopes that there will be both student exchanges and lecturers for joint research / publications, ‘said the Rector of UMA.
“This cooperation is expected to have proof of cooperation reports both student exchanges and research / publication lecturers, because in assessing the quality standards of higher education institutions for collaboration not just signatures but there must be proof of cooperation, if there is no proof of collaboration there is no value for standards quality of cooperation, ‘said the Rector.
The Rector of USI, Dr. Corry M.Si said that he was very pleased to collaborate with Medan Area University, The Rector of USI would send his students to Medan Area University and would study at UMA.
Furthermore, the public lecture program that was delivered by USU Faculty of Engineering Spreading Teachers, Prof. Dr. Eng. Himsar Ambarita ST, MT, presented the theme “Engineering Simulation as One of the Research Tools” and the Rector of the University of Medan Area Prof. Dr. Dadan Ramdan M.Eng, M.Sc, presented the theme “Standards for Quality Assurance in Indonesia Towards Industrial Era 4.0”.
