Introduction to The Life of New Student Campus or PKKMB University of Medan Area Academic Year 2020, Friday 20 September 2020, officially opened the Chairman of Yayasan Pendidikan Haji Agus Salim Drs. H. Erwin Siregar MBA. PKKMB University of Medan Area conducted online via the application Zoom Meeting and Youtube University of Medan Area.
This time the motto in the implementation of pkkmb Online University of Medan Area year 2020 is Moto HEBAT (Thrif, Clean and Healthy) introduced by the Rector of the University of Medan Area (UMA) Prof. Dr. Dadan Ramdan M.Eng M.Sc in front of UMA new students online who follow the Introduction to The Life of New Student Campus (PKKMB). On that occasion, Prof. Dadan also launched a smoke-free UMA campus.
“New students of Medan Area University must be Great. That is cost-effective by completing college on time. Students must also be clean mind and physical, without being contaminated with negative things such as drugs, so that a healthy campus will be realized,” said the rector in his speech at the opening of PKKMB UMA Online.
Rector also said that the vision of Medan Area University, which is innovative, personality and independent must be understood and implemented by all academic community including new students in academic year 2020/2021. With that vision, he said, achievement should be a dead price.
“UMA students must excel starting from the internal environment (campus), local (North Sumatra), to national and international. And your brothers or senior students have shown that achievement,” prof Dadan said.
Furthermore, the Rector of Medan Area University also said that the new students must graduate on time for an optimal bachelor’s degree of 4 years, a 2-year master’s degree and a 3-year doctoral program with a GPA for 3.00 undergraduate programs,” said Prof Dadan.
Chairman of YPHAS Drs. H.M. Erwin Siregar MBA in his speech first of all I congratulate the new students of Medan Area University in 2020/2021 hopefully the intention to study at the University of Medan Area can be realized, can be done well and we hope to be motivated in carrying out educational activities until later finished becoming a bachelor on time.
“Pkkmb Activities University of Medan Area Year 2020 should be implemented has the aim to introduce more about the existence of the campus, as students are required to be able to learn independently where self-reliance must be accompanied by a strong attitude and responsibility of discipline, especially this online lecture activities must have a greater motivation so that this online training can be realized that the University of Medan Area hopes and can run well” said Mr. Erwin while introducing himself and explaining the task of the foundation he led , among others, equipping the facilities and infrastructure needed in the implementation of quality academics.
Universitas Medan Area has also implemented bilingual classes where lectures use English in addition to regular b and afternoon/evening classes. Universitas Medan Area also often holds webinars, all webinar activities are on Youtube University of Medan Area and free to get a certificate.
